Background

Many of us have been horrified by the actions of governments against people often enough over the years,

but when the UK & US governments ignored the views of this huge crowd of demonstrators who marched through London on 15th February 2003...

Demonstration against the invasion of Iraq, London, 15th Feb 2003 (below)

and then perpetuated their "Weapons of Mass Destruction" mantra in a ludicrous attempt to justify their re-invasion of Iraq on 20th March 2003, enough was enough.

Many of us have been on protest marches in London, but apart from the great positive energy and feelings of unity we all share at these events, what do they really achieve?

Many of us have become more and more frustrated at the way our politicians flagrantly ignore the will of the people they are put in government to serve...

So, since the events of 2003 and throughout the continued illegal occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan by 'Her Majesty' & her banksters, using their nasty puppet politician (like the one below) and his cronies,

Many have been looking for other ways to protest...

In 2006, we organised "Stop The War - The First Ipswich Peace Festival"...

It was great, we had loads of bands, loads of fun, raised loads of money and got loads of publicity!

We even put out a CD...

So we did it again in 2007...

and it was cool, but there weren't as many people and we didn't raise as much money :(

We tried again in Sept. 2008!...

and yeah, we raised some funds but there were even less people than the year before so we decided to give it a rest for a while...

It was just after the last Peace Festie that the so called "Freeman On The Land" concept came to light

Various sources referred to it, starting with David Icke mentioning some aspects of it at the end of one of his books (below)

The concept sounded intriguing but a bit far fetched (like a lot of things which are spread via our beloved internet)

but it's best to keep an open mind and check things out oneself

If one starts by looking into aspects of our constitution one may find good information, such as this talk

here

Also the Freeman work of Robert Menard in 'Canada'

& later John Harris who put more of a 'UK' perspective on it

but it's important to check things out for yourself and so we set up this project to investigate the concept's authenticity.

The idea was that if it were to check out it may be a suitable way of registering protest against the 'powers that be' more effectively...

This web site details the journey as a result of all this, and aims to share the learning
